Something for Everyone to Read. This was given to the Tarts by Mary and we thought that it was something that we should all share.

A RASPBERRY TART SHOULD HAVE:
...one old love she can image going back to..
and one who reminds her how far she has come...

A RASPBERRY TART SHOULD HAVE:
...enough money within her control to move out and rent a place of her own even if she never wants to or need sot...

A RASPBERRY TART SHOULD HAVE:
...something perfect to wear if the employer of her dreams wants to see her in an hour...

A RASPBERRY TART SHOULD HAVE:
...a set of screwdrivers, a cordless drill and a black lace bra...

A RASPBERRY TART SHOULD HAVE:
...one friend who always makes her laugh and one who lets her cry...

A RASPBERRY TART SHOULD HAVE:
...a good piece of furniture not previously owned by anyone else in her family...

A RASPBERRY TART SHOULD HAVE:
...eight matching plates, wine glasses with stems and a recipe for a meal that will make her guests feel honored...

A RASPBERRY TART SHOULD HAVE:
...a feeling of control over her destiny...

EVERY RASPBERRY TART SHOULD KNOW:
...how to fell in love without losing herself...

EVERY RASPBERRY TART SHOULD KNOW:
...how to quit a job, break up with a lover, and comfort a friend without ruining the relationship..

EVERY RASPBERRY TART SHOULD KNOW:
...when to try harder and when to walk away...

EVERY RASPBERRY TART SHOULD KNOW:
...that she can't change the length of her calves, the width of her hips or the nature of her parents...

EVERY RASPBERRY TART SHOULD KNOW:
...that her childhood may not have been perfect but it's over...

EVERY RASPBERRY TART SHOULD KNOW:
...what she would and wouldn't do for love or more...

EVERY RASPBERRY TART SHOULD KNOW:
...how to live alone, even if she doesn't like it...

EVERY RASPBERRY TART SHOULD KNOW:
...whom she can trust, whom she can't and why she shouldn't take it personally

EVERY RASPBERRY TART SHOULD KNOW:
...where to go...
be it her best friend's kitchen table or a charming inn in the woods when her soul needs soothing

EVERY RASPBERRY TART SHOULD KNOW:
...what she can and can't accomplish in a day, a month and a year...

great words and something to think about.

Greetings my Dahlin' Tarts!

Once again, the fourth Sunday of the month is fast upon us. This month we will be enjoying the hospitality of the New Dundee Emporium in...you guessed it...New Dundee. The date is March 25th, the time is 3:00 p.m.

For those that haven't had the good fortune to have been there before, the Emporium is run by Mark and Danny, two of our fab judges of last September's Tart For A Day (Bless their hearts, they have excellent taste around Best Talent). They will provide us with fresh sandwiches and home baked goodies for a traditional High Tea.

Since everything is baked/put together that day, EXACT numbers are important. Due to this fact, payment will be required from all those who commit to going. Please let me know by Friday, March 23rd (at 519-749-1830) if you are planning to attend.

After our scrumptious tea, you can browse in the Emporium's unique (funky!) gift store.

The cost of this wonderful experience is a mere $19.00

Ta-ta Tarts...enjoy this lovely weather. See you soon!
